Rob has spent a lot of time in Strathmore, AB working on a variety of activities. He was the Town’s Project Lead on the construction of a joint K-9 School/Fieldhouse as well as for a project to construct a new Town Hall. In addition, Rob facilitated preparation of a new Strategic Plan with a newly elected Council and has provided special research support on several Council initiatives.

He facilitated a public information meeting for the Regional District of Nanaimo on a controversial local sewer project in Bowser. Rob delivered a Pre-election Candidate Forum for the District of North Saanich and the Town of Sidney.

He supported a private sector development application for a multi-family small unit residential and a mixed use live/work project in High River, AB.

Rob continues to be involved with the VIU Masters of Planning program.

In March, Kathy and Rob enjoyed a small tour group visit to Vietnam, which was a great experience. In August, they were joined by all three offspring to travel to Telegraph Cove, BC where they celebrated a milestone birthday.
